Leakblock: opensource anti-leak tool for Windows VPNs

Freewheeling spot to chew the fat on anything cryptostorm-related that doesn't fit elsewhere (i.e. support, howto, &c.). Criticism & praise & brainstorming & requests for explanation... this is where it goes when it's hot & ready for action! :-)

Leakblock: opensource anti-leak tool for Windows VPNs

Postby cryptostorm_ops » Tue Jan 08, 2013 1:16 pm

We are preparing to release the Leakblock anti-leakage tool for Windows-based cryptostorm members. It's a project that's been in the works, behind the scenes, for more than a year.

Cryptostorm darknet is sponsoring the tech work behind the Leakblock anti-leakage tool. Leakblock is being released as a free service to the online community, with a particular emphasis on heavy filesharers.

If you're reading this and thinking "yeah, right on... VPN leaks are a nontrivial issue and it's time we all worked together to provide better tools and techniques for preventing them," then welcome! If you're thinking "what on God's green Earth is a VPN leak?" then welcome as well... everyone's got a role to play here, from uber-masters of network protocol and firewall management to folks who just want to know that their online traffic is safe and secure. Always.

More details to be posted soon...

Any status update on the availability of the Leakblock software? Will it be rolled into the Narwahl connection app for Windows?
