Cantus is German right? I tried to look for the server names but can't find. If so yes I've been having problems as well. For example yesterday while gaming usually latency would spike up to 100+ in German server normally my latency is 40-50 while gaming there. Today many times I lost totally connection so I had to wait for several minutes or try reconnecting which didn't work that well either.

So I assume something is going on.

Yep, Cantus is the German node.

Can confirm. Connectivity problems started around 2-3 days ago.

I'm still a bit out of the operational loop, but I did overhear df discussing this issue yesterday and I know there's been some testing work going on meanwhile.

That datacentre does get quite a but of packet shrapnel from DDoS attacks running across the backbone interconnects in Frankfurt, but normally that's transient - a few hours here and there. This seems longer-term.

I'll open another staff ticket to be sure there's a resolution quickly... but I suspect that's already well underway if not nearly complete.

Thx for picking this up so quickly!

I had a server booked in Frankfurt last week and suffered from many downtimes. So this seems to be a pretty massive attack if things are still this bad. I had to ultimately cancle the server because the constant DDOS rendered it unusable. I hope you can achive a better solution with your knowledge. Even though Cantus is only 100MBit/s and a upgrade would be neat, it was always very reliable and so it became my favorite node. <3

Cantus is also the most horsey node which makes it super awesome by default.
