Cryptostorm goes unmentioned -- What a shame!!!

Freewheeling spot to chew the fat on anything cryptostorm-related that doesn't fit elsewhere (i.e. support, howto, &c.). Criticism & praise & brainstorming & requests for explanation... this is where it goes when it's hot & ready for action! :-)

Cryptostorm goes unmentioned -- What a shame!!!

I'm shocked that of the 74 vpn's tested, that CS didn't make the list of those that leak IP, DNS and other unessential infos to whomever want to buy, steal or hack it (or is that them?).

Uh, cryptostorm doesn't leak. As parityboy explained in viewtopic.php?f=32&t=9568&p=18351#p18351 , your problem was that your device was set to proxy through opera-mini.net after tunneling through cryptostorm.
Connecting to a VPN won't change your browser's proxy settings.
If you see your real IP or ISP's DNS anywhere, you need to read the tutorials again to make sure that you set up your device correctly. Also, don't forget to do a ctrl+f5 refresh if you're using ipleak.net, since sometimes those results get cached.
The download page at https://cryptostorm.is/#section6 now includes various tutorials for all the popular systems.

Weird place for a reply, df. None-the-less, I've switched to Firefox. As for the tutorials, bottom of your post, none cover CSVPN on a router. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "Weird place for a reply", I'm replying to a post in your thread.
That's kinda how forum communication works.
