how to use cryptofree on osx (el capitan) ? any guidance for non-code-wizzard highly appreciated.

Have you successfully set up the paid-for services on El Capitan? If so, the set up procedure is identical, except that the exit node addresses are different and in the username and password you can put whatever you want, aslong as the number of characters used is greater than zero.
