Suggestion: Don't use Reverse DNS Names

Postby Guest01 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 7:24 am

It is very easy to fingerprint users based on reverse DNS with CryptoStorm.
e.g. when any site queries your IP they see something like linux-ussouth.cryptostorm.net

This tells them 1) You use cryptostorm, 2) You use linux, 3) The exact server you are using.

It is better to not use vhost/reverse-dns for user privacy.
