What's with the price increase with the switch to Stripe (with respect to bitcoin)? Very recently the price for a one-month access token when paying via BTC was $3.86 or thereabouts---right under two-thirds of the current price. Used to, there was a discount for paying with BTC but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
I had planned on buying another one-month access token this month and already purchased enough BTC (or so I thought) to do so and then I find out about this. My annoyance is that it takes me a non-insignificant amount of time from payment to reception of BTC, which means I'm SOL for the time being.
I don't really understand what's going on on the crypto currency market.
Two years ago I bought some BTC for about 140$ and I spended 45$. The rest of my 95$ raised up to 3500$ until two days ago. Today their value is 2800$.
I'm impressed about the ups and downs of the BTC, but I don't know if my 2800 oder 3000$ (it depends on the day we are...) have really the value of this amount, so I could sell them for this price and change it to dollars or euros. I only bought BTC, I never sold them.
