Regarding the current situation

Postby iLikeBusses » Sun Nov 15, 2015 8:57 am

Considering there are obviously already the wildest speculations about what made you retreat for a while, i'd like to say one ore two things.

First: The acts leading to your dilemma were not willingly chosen by you, though you may have been negligent - not more then your customers. If you let people build representation, you empower them. If you leave a gap in your portfolio, because you are interesting in tech alone, you open the door for new people - and should either check them, or make the difference between them and the trusted staff clearer.

Second: You did tremble, as anyone in that position would, but didn't fall. Not because you seeked personal gain, nor did your service lack technical quality. Every decision you made untill this point was not the one looking for the easy way. Still, you lost to some extend. Not only that, but you were confronted with the full complexity of consequences that your service has. No more packet transfer, but accountability.

You expect people to fall in that situation. Still you didnt, and that is really remarkable. You didn't took the easy justifications to judge about the worth of your individual members trust, but stayed with your principle. Knowing, that you'd still be blamed, that you can't win. I am massively impressed by that.

I hope you do realize that you acted in a way that you knew would be exhausting, and stood strong after a lost battle.
