Freewheeling spot to chew the fat on anything cryptostorm-related that doesn't fit elsewhere (i.e. support, howto, &c.). Criticism & praise & brainstorming & requests for explanation... this is where it goes when it's hot & ready for action! :-)

Something about this is highly suspicious, and may be related to the effort to audit TrueCrypt. Going out on a limb here, but it may well be that TrueCrypt actually is secure and an impartial audit will actually prove it. This action basically shutters any reason to audit TrueCrypt; the giveaway is the notion that BitLocker is a better option...

...I've just taken a look at this. Dunno if anyone else here has read it, and I've only read the summary, but at the moment it looks like the issues are actually easily fixable, and while cleaning up the code may reveal further bugs, at least then the bugs will be visible.
