We have been receiving intermittent reports to our support team of problems establishing successful connections via the cryptostorm widget on Windows 8.1 platforms. In several instances, extensive debugging and error log analysis has not resulted in any resolution to these problems - an extremely unusual occurrence for our support team to confront.
As such, we are asking for feedback from network members using Windows 8.1 and the network access widget: are you able to successfully connect? Have you experienced any performance or network throughput issues, when connected? Have you seen transient "authorisation failed" messages, and/or widget connections that "hang" after completing but before minimising to the taskbar?
The more feesback we gain from network members, the faster we'll be able to pin down the source of these reported issues and implement solutions.
Finally, if folks are on Windows 8.1 and would like to aid in testing the platform with the widget but don't currently have a token for cryptostorm access, please drop an email to debug<at>cryptostorm<dot>is and our support team will be glad to provide no-cost 30 day tokens in exchange for this assistance.
