[RESOLVED] OpenVPN android Issue

Postby kapu » Sat Apr 15, 2017 4:11 pm

Hi I can't connect to cryptostorm with my android 4.2.2 and openVPN =/
It says me that I can't connect:
[server] Peer Connection Initiated with [AF_INET]5.121.137.252:443
AUTH: Received control message: AUTH_FAILED
SIGTERM[soft,auth-failure]received, process exiting

I'm trying the england-tcp and udp vpn config file.

I put my hashed token (through https://cryptostorm.is/sha512.html) and a random password.

What should I do?

Perhaps your are connected with other devices using the same token and are hitting the session limit:

Please note that the simultaneous devices/token are:
1M (and less) tokens: 1 device/token
3M & 6M tokens: 2 devices/token
1Y & 2Y tokens: 4 devices/token
(https://twitter.com/cryptostorm_is/stat ... 2279579648)

If you test your token @ cryptostorm.nu and you get: 'That token has
reached the maximum number of sessions.' and this doesn't correspond with
the actual connections, please mail us your token.

@OP

I see from this post that you are using Mint. In a terminal do

Code: Select all

echo -n <token> | sha512sum

This will be the cleanest way to get a correct hash without any cut & paste browser shenanigans.
