Windows Widget IPV6 Issue

Postby anothernoob » Fri Mar 24, 2017 4:12 pm

I have lots of configs to avoid IPV6 on my windows.
After i try the windows cryptostorm widget, after i disconnect from vpn it does TURN MY IPV6 ON somehow.
I discovered when my firewall beeped about ipv6 connection.
I think it does turn OFF when connecting then turn ON when disconnects, but it should NEVER turn on if it was off from beginning.
I also use SIMPLE DNSCRYPT on my windows, that put dns on 127.0.0.1:53 and 127.0.0.1:54
Shall i be worried about something when using the windows widget too?
What does it change in ipv6 when i disconnect so i can revert the changes it made?

In the Widget Options, untick "Disable IPv6"... if you handle this yourself, there is no need to pass the responsibility over to the widget.

I hate to rewrite but... My post resumes in 2 questions:

1) "What does it change in ipv6 when i disconnect so i can revert the changes it made?"
That is the first.
I dont even remember the several configs i made.
So, support can tell me WHAT DOES IT CHANGE, SO I CAN REVERT WHAT IT DID. ok?
Do you need me to explain further? Ok, I DONT KNOW WHAT CHANGES IT MADE AND IF THEY REMAINED.
Will untick a box restore the configs? Guess not.

2) "I also use SIMPLE DNSCRYPT on my windows, that put dns on 127.0.0.1:53 and 127.0.0.1:54
Shall i be worried about something when using the windows widget too?"

Maybe you think i must make a FULL INVESTIGATION on my computer to discover the changes the widget made...

Every software must have documents about what the option does.
And How it does. I am also curious about the dns leak method.
