Auth failing

Postby Blackberry but not » Sun Mar 12, 2017 3:03 am

On all my computers and iPhone all of a sudden.

Cryptofree working so clearly my key or all servers except cryptofree?

Twitter is quiet so guess it's my key?

How do I check my key is good? It should have months left.

Where do I go from here?

OK I emailed support@cryptostorm.is 48hrs ago via a random emailer.

I've had no response yet (a response being that my auth works, instead of failing)

Could one of the admins PM me here please?

It's pretty frustrating having to use Cryptofree everywhere as it's slooooooowwwwww!

I'd also prefer a contact method that allows me to get replies without me needing to use a permanent and thus linkable mailbox, which seems a big faux pas for token ID security (ie, using email is bad)

Thanks

PS, wouldn't it be a good idea to check token over-use and blocking a bit more elegantly?
I only have three devices using the VPN, rarely more than two used, so it's quite frustrating to just lose all service for no reason.

I had a look in the support@cryptostorm.is mailbox. There's no mail related to you're issues in there ... .
Can you resend it? Or visit our IRC channel: cryptostorm.is/irc

So is that link meant to deliver me to:

https://cryptostorm.nu/kiwi/

??

Why send me to .is, to end up at .nu?

Sorry but given the Comodo certs aren't the most trusted in the world I'm just making sure that this is all right.

Not that I want to use this irc to reset the token.

I'll try email one more time.

So just to double check.

cryptostorm.is/irc redirects to cryptostorm.nu/kiwi?

And you use 'well regarded' Comodo certs?

Sorry but to blindly trust would be stupid.

Also I send the hash of the original token? I don't keep the original token as I use openvpn batches and a separate credentials file.

@FaffToResetTokens

Yes, you send the hash of the token in question. The servers only keep records of the hashes, not the original token.
