Importing .ovpn Config File iOS

Postby belowzero » Fri Dec 30, 2016 12:41 am

.opvn file was imported from here: https://github.com/cryptostorm/cryptost ... lands.ovpn
"# Cryptostorm.is config optimized for Tunnelblick/Viscosity OSX and OpenVPN iOS"

When I import an .opvn file into the OpenVPN app on ios 10 I see (see Image)

"External Certificate Profile" as well as the app giving me options which include adding the file.

Then I see (See Image)

"External Certificate Profile"

Certificate "None Selected"

I'm stuck at this point as I've not done this before. It doesn't appear to be as straight forward as using Tunnelblick on the Mac.

Can anyone guide me along?

Thanks

For some reason after entering my token and a single character into the username and password field and tapping connect, it wouldn't connect.

However, I found a post on this forum that helped.

If anyone is searching for an answer for something similar see here: viewtopic.php?p=16710#p16710

If anybody ever has a hard time connecting on iOS, just check out my previous posts. I have posted a comprehensive guide to getting connected on iOS using nothing but an iOS device.
