It is what it is. If you're on to these problems, you need to disclose it to subscribers. Subscribers want you to succeed, but most will drift away when you bullshit them.

@NOYB Don't be shy then. Why not tell us what you know?

Beyond the dnscrypt resolver cs-fr2 vegging out today I've had no problems at all recently.

That's the point. Substitution is a valid eliminator.

If a connection is mostly reliable for years, then suddenly fails repeatedly. And the user then simply switches to another network - eliminating the drops. I'd say that pretty much excludes problems on the user's end? Everything that could be done here to mitigate/rule out local problems happened.

"Substitution test" is *still* running without failure. Supplier might technically be a small step down - but it works.

Proxy platform is a Thinkpad T41 Win 7 w RollbackRx running from Guest account which has been used for years with various VPN providers. Very dull - just works. Until now.

Switching networks fixed things instantly.

Win7? Heh...

You do what you think's right, man - of course. But don't you think you'd be one of many if the cause was an inheritance problem with CS?

Again, apart from the dnscrypt thing I had the other day, our connection rivals granite in it's figurative solidity. *shrug*
