TLS Error

Postby Jary » Sat Mar 14, 2015 11:31 am

Hello,
I am new to VPN in general. Using Max OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. Received token, installed Viscosity, Imported this link https://cryptostorm.org/viewtopic.php?p=5158#p5158, used the HASH, but after running the first connection attempt, I get this message:

Mar 14 07:17:32: TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 17 seconds (check your network connectivity)
Mar 14 07:17:32: NOTE: --mute triggered...
Mar 14 07:17:32: 1 variation(s) on previous 1 message(s) suppressed by --mute
Mar 14 07:17:32: SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting
Mar 14 07:17:42: UDPv4 link local: [undef]
Mar 14 07:17:42: UDPv4 link remote: [AF_INET]79.134.255.83:443
Mar 14 07:17:59: TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 17 seconds (check your network connectivity)

Any idea, pls? Thanks
J.

Hey there, I think we just provided more or less the exact same reply in email, but you''l want to take quick read through the Mac howto, here in the forum, if you've not done so already. This not really a scary cryptographic error - it's just some missing step in the login process that's preventing all the crypto interactions from competing.

Almost always, those are easy fixes. Check that howto, and if that doesn't do the trick, let us know. We'll get things working, one way or another.

Cheers,
