I think it's important for you to realise that many of the guides on this forum come from community members, not from staff. The vast majority of VPN users - regardless of provider - initiate their VPN connection from their PC not
from their router, hence the need for software such as Network Manager, Tunnelblick, OpenVPN Connect or whatever widget a VPN provider chooses to deploy for their users.
Most of the chat on forums will be related to configuring a client or router distribution once it has already been installed
. Actually installing such software (OpenWRT, pfSense, Tomato etc.) is really outside the remit of staff at any
VPN provider thus it is really up to the community to come forward and share their experiences.
Unfortunately for you (and no doubt others reading these forums), the number of people using Cryptostorm and
using it on OpenWRT and
using it on the same router model as yourself appears to be vanishingly small.
I hope you get your router unbricked and back up and running again.
If you choose to give Cryptostorm's service a try once you get your router up and running, we would be more than happy to guide you along with configuration and getting the service up and running for you to use.
