Re: HOWTO: pfSense

Hi pfsensenewbie. Hi tlsbreak and fermi, 1000 thanks for your help. I tried to use the username/password combination in the openvpn-page but it does not work again. Now I have a tls-error, but as I read, this is not a very specific error. I managed to get access to three other openvpn-providers with...

Glad I could help.

Working configs need to be more organized for sure. The heartbleed changes and shutdown of Bruno and Shadow in Canada make it easy to get confused especially new customers.

Re: unstable connection and some not working

From what I've seen, auth-failed means 1 of 2 things. Your token isn't in the database for that node. Your connection dropped, isp went down or something like that. If you're sure your token is still valid you should talk to support so they can fix it. Check the server status you're connecting to he...

Re: HOWTO: pfSense

How to Keep Traffic in Cryptostorm VPN Most don't want any traffic going out to the internet if the Cryptostorm connection goes down. This isn't hard to do in pfSense, but there is one special thing you need. First you need to turn off a secret setting. :eh: Go to System | Advanced | Miscellaneous ...

Re: Split Tunneling

.... It seems to me you need a rule like that for each non-vpn connection. Actually that's not true, since you can make the iptables rule for the specific interface (wan, wlan, eth, br-lan, tun, tap) and them assign the non vpn connection to one of them, in theory I know that works, since a former ...

Re: Split Tunneling

Let's say you wanted to set up your dd-wrt to connect to only 1 ip address/subnet or CIDR or whatever. What would that iptable rule look like?

It seems to me you need a rule like that for each non-vpn connection.

That has been my problem then. I have been setting it up as a client . Hulltech Now I'm confused. Do you mean you tried to connect your "on the road" devices to your dd-wrt Openvpn client ? Reading back thru the thread, I'm not sure if your problem is a) Connecting your dd-wrt t...
