Re: Split Tunneling

I don't see why it would benefit everyone, I have no use or purpose or inclination to allow an IP to bypass CS. I use Windows 7 Firewall with Advanced Security to block svchost.exe (provides inactive internet till widget kicks in)... hence I would suggest a spinoff widget to handle this split tunnel...

Have ya' noticed it's only the users with a very unique network setup that kick up a fuss... can't keep everyone happy all the time. It's a tad difficult for CS to cater to every setup... after all, they are not a franchise and don't have a 10 figure bank account balance.

Re: optimising torrenting performance on cryptostorm: discus

I get better down/up stream results now that I default to the USA exitnode... can max out bandwidth on public trackers. Private needs not to be mentioned, always fast on those ones. Max downstream I've seen on the darknet is 1.1MB p/s, not sure why it stops there since without darknet I get 1.7MB p/...

Re: version control: non-widget Windows conf's, most current

Ive tested widget on 4 different machines, using XP, Win7 both x32 and x64, all use in the neighborhood of 20% to 25% of cpu, I always hope it lets the cpu useage go as other programs do, but regardless if system is idle or not, it runs hard. as for my own machine, if I use the widget, I can her it...

Re: Auto Re-connect Issue

I wasn't under the impression that it would automatically re-connect? Most likely I am wrong, nothing new here.

In regards to this "how to automatically connect the client?"... the 1.0 version of the widget, when released will handle autoconnect at startup...

Re: cryptostorm's network access widget, rev. 0.9 public bet

Is there any news/works on CPU usage in relation to the widget? I just noticed that "client.exe" maxxes out one of my cores (total of 8). Not sure if affinity works with this file, spreading it to all does nothing. Overall CPU usage is 13% to 17% (the overall picture, not an issue... but on a core l...

In uTorrent, go to Options - Preferences - Advanced... In the Filter text box, type "isp." and there should be 7 entries to tinker with... The Primary and Secondary DNS entries, according to IP Lookup , are located in the USA. The following is provided by netchief.com isp.bep22 : This option enables...

Re: source code - cryptostorm widget, version 0.91(w)

Is there a switch I could use (eg: client.exe /rightnow) where the "/rightnow" clause would perform the mouse click on the Connect button on my behalf? The assumption is that the user has ticked "Save"... The goal of this hopefully, is to add client.exe into the startup folder so it'll connect to th...

Re: Identity leaks via browser disclosures

Nice! Cheers for the info DesuStrike... I think I will calm down with this stuff for a while (not long though)... You know you are getting too deep when your dreams contain conversations about TAP drivers and browser configurations! EDIT: My hiatus didn't last long. Went for a smoke, came back, and ...
