In various places around the web, I often see these unlimited VPN service offers in the $40 to $80 range. Soon after they expire, new and similar offers take their place. I am not promoting them, I just want to know what the angle is. How can they do this, it sounds incredible... there must be a cat...

Good point. Will look into alternative payment methods soon... Not sure what other payment methods I want to see yet -- just wanted to clarify the issue here: There are different kinds of prepaid debit cards: one kind has a fixed value at purchase (like $50 or $100) and the other kind can be loaded...
