Re: Firefox Reveals My System's Time; Need to Obfuscate

TorBrowser with uBlock turned off, my real location remains obfuscated. Sometimes TB completely conceals it, and at other times it fakes it.

Re: Firefox Reveals My System's Time; Need to Obfuscate

There is NO VPN IN THE WORLD that changes your system time, so don't ask them here like they were responsible. I'd agree with you, but then no one's asking for this. You're upset about imaginary requests. Kid, this is not a VPN issue. If you need that kinda protection, you better use a VIRTUAL MACH...

Re: Firefox Reveals My System's Time; Need to Obfuscate

Change your system time, it will do the trick. Just match it to the VPN exit node. Then add another clock in the "Additional Clock" tab to reflect your real location time. So when you hover your mouse over the time/date section, it will pop up a box showing both local time and additional ...

Re: Firefox Reveals My System's Time; Need to Obfuscate

@OP I just tested this - it's a Javascript issue, so a short term fix would be to simply disable Javascript. Thanks, but what about sites that do need JavaScript ? Although I use both uBlock Origin and uMatrix for fine-grained control of scripts, I'm still unable to target the appropriate one. I've...

Firefox Reveals My System's Time; Need to Obfuscate

Hi there !

Whoer is able to detect my real timezone while I'm using any CryptoStorm Node. Is there a way to either stop my system's time being displayed or change it to match the VPN Node's local time ?

Thanks.

Re: Minor issue: recognition of VPN server location on youtube and google

Solved the problem by disabling ipv6 leaks. In /etc/ufw/sysctl.conf just add: net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1 Hi. I can't find sysctl.conf in HD/private/etc. Where else can I look for it? Thanks. Sorry, I should have been m...

Re: Minor issue: recognition of VPN server location on youtube and google

@OP I'd look into how the firewall is set up on OS X, and also look to see if WebRTC is blocked in Firefox. I've made the changes you suggested: Screenshot 1 OS X Firewall.png Still no luck though. I've made further checks to suggestions others have made, and have spotted a possible bug: a timezone...

Minor issue: recognition of VPN server location on youtube and google

Hi Guys, I'm using Firefox on OS X, and have configured my VPN connection using your How-to on Tunnelblick . I've been using CryptoStorm for a week now and I noticed that YouTube and Google are able to figure-out my real location, Malaysia. Netflix also thinks I'm from outside the U.S. although I'm ...
