Re: Montreal cluster - background & discussion

Something I've noticed on Maple, think since after the weekend, is that torrents are not working, although everything else seems as good as ever. Confirmed I'm uising the *.conf file you linkd to /Fermi, but the port Transmission is using isn't open. The Frakfurt exit node behaves as expected, has a...

Thanks for the info man, although like sarcasm and irony, it's difficult to express that I was been facetious in text :) Hope you can find someone who fits the culture, to help market and spread the word of Cryptostorm to the unwashed masses. Looking forward to the new exit node, any clues on the pl...

Re: version control: non-widget Windows conf's, most current

I find this board, and the spread of information a bit intiidating; certainly for someone new to cryptostorm, and vpn technology. I'm pretty much a n00b, although tech savy, and it has been a challenge (although fun) to get everything working slick. I really appreciate the supportof the community, b...

Re: RE-OPENED: aleph tokens ~ unlimited duration batch

Fantastic guys, great to hear more server locations are on the cards, but how am I meant to sell tokens if you're signing members up for life? ;) Love the symbolisim of the price point! One question: If a user has constant login credentials, does this mitigate personal security in anyway? Best of lu...

Re: Icelandic Exit Node Dodgy Geolocation Phenomenon

Curious, I've just checked my connection on the Iceland Fenrir node, from outside of Germany, on Android.

The IP is returned as Iceland, but the DNS Germany.

Is this setting intentional?

Best of luck, I hope it all goes smoothly and without glitch!

Hypothetical security question; the server space is rented, how does this not compromise user security?

Re: New auth error discovered

Cheers man, I'm using a basterdised version of Ubunti 14.04, and trying to implement Desu's IPtable: https://cryptostorm.org/viewtopic.php?t=6247&p=9588#p9588 All works well, except it seems to be locking down my access... and as mentioned in the post, IP tables have always been a dark art to me...
