Re: UFW rules

@OP I think I see the issue. In your iptables rules, switch out 127.0.1.1 for 127.0.0.53 (both lines). 127.0.0.53 is the address that your local dnsmasq is listening on. That in turn will forward the DNS request to your router which is probably on 192.168.1.1 while the VPN is inactive. Once the VPN...

Re: Newbie can't connect w/ Ubuntu 16.04

@OP For the Tor and I2P stuff, can you do "nslookup forum.i2p" or "nslookup 3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion" , and post the results? For the DNS leaks, I suspect that your dnsmasq configuration isn't being updated properly. Can you post the contents of the following files: /etc/resolv.co...

Re: HOWTO: cryptostorm on Android non-root | cryptostorm.org/android

@user name Does the config file have multiple <remote></remote> tags? If so, could you try removing the tags? For example: # this is the cryptostorm.is client settings file, versioning... # cstorm_linux-rome_1-4.conf # last update date: 12 January 2014 # it is intended to provide connection solely ...

Re: troubles connecting

@OP

Can you try connecting to a specific node (one that is more local to you than what the global balancer might give you) and see if you get the same thing?

DeepDNS Resolution Issues

Right now download.microsoft.com isn't being resolved by the England node. The England node also affects secure content served in the landing page of MMO Champion - disabling SSL protection in the browser allows the content to be loaded and correctly rendered. Other nodes do not exhibit this issue. ...

Re: "Kill switch"

@OP According to what I last heard from staff, a kill switch feature is being implemented but is not available yet. I'm not familiar enough with Windows to be able to guide you accurately, but on Linux what I do is to block all traffic apart from localhost, the local LAN and the exit nodes. Everyth...
