Re: Error: the plugin doesn't support import capability, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

This is a know issue with 16.04!! And there are currently no workaround! Ubuntu broke the network-manager-openvpn, if you updated from 15.10 with that working you should be fine but you will not be able to import ovpn conf's files. I found this out the worse way, brand new laptop install with 16.04,...

Simple solution to increase Torrent P2P speed is to:

- Rotate port until you find one that is fast for you
- Do not use random port, chose the best one and keep it
- Stay in the same node, if you change node, search for another port

Re: How do I use your dns services via dnscrypt?

You could go to the github, that should have all the info you need: https://github.com/cryptostorm/cstorm-deepDNS/

But if you would like to direct link to the IP's: https://github.com/cryptostorm/cstorm-d ... olvers.txt

- What node are you using? - Have you tried another node to see if the problem persist? - Are you using the same token in another device? - Are you using the latest version of Tunnelblick https://tunnelblick.net/release/Tunnelblick_3.5.3_build_4270.4371.dmg - What version of OSX are you running?

OpenVPN / Windows 7/8/8.1/10 & it's TAP/TUN Device problem

So once again, Microsh*t broke the TAP/TUN device in the new version of Windows 10, this happens since XP, every new version the same problem  Has I personally don't use the CS Widget, this tutorial will be for the OpenVPN software, BUT IT WILL WORK FINE for CS Widget since it's the same probl...

Re: Widget Hangs On Logging intio Darknet

Hi there. First thing first: - CS has I2P and TOR built in, so when using CS VPN normally you should be able to access ALL the darkweb sites without having to run the specific software - Windows 10 is bringing, once again since XP and with all versions, the TUN/TAP problem when using the widget or a...

Re: Windows 10?

Are you using the widget version 2.22 from viewtopic.php?f=47&t=8544 or OpenVPN to connect?
This seems to be a problem with the TAP/TUN device not installed, it happened to Windows 7 for a while.

Re: is montreal node offline?

I'm actually surprise that this didn't happened sooner. There are so many DC's that are terminating VPN services inside their networks due to the new legislation that's been coming to light all over the world. This is just the beginning, a lot more are yet to come, and this is why I'm a 100% support...

Re: Can't connect to USCentral with OpenVPN-Android

@op

Just figure out that the OVPN conf from the tutorial is outdated with the nodes IP's, and since Android no longer has the problem with the first DNS when connecting I'm changing everything to the FQDN.

Thanks to pointing this out :-)

PS - All OpenVPN conf's files have been updated :-)

Actually they aren't the official Storm routers since it seams that the project is a little on the slow side :-D but I'm selling a very good equivalent, check here:

Yes, that is what you do. Wonderful. Your performance is simply superb. Extra-Ordinary. Except that I am NOT running OPENWRT and it is useless to tell me what you do because that will not help here. Please become 20 years younger. I don't have the ability to ssh in and directly write to files, the ...

What does echo 93b66e7059176bbfa418061c5cba87dd >> /etc/config/openvpn.key do? All I have my echo doing is echoing my token, not the 9-d string. Yeah normally you should have your hashed token and that number that constitutes a password (at least for OpenVPN) (login.auth is your openvpn.key) In ter...

I managed to put the file in etc instead of the vpn folder and then added ca /etc/TrustedRoot.pem to the config, I am presuming it's ca instead of cert because this is a root certificate, right? Re: Tomato 1.28

You don't have the CA certificate in the conf. The only thing you have to enter here is the CA certificate from Cryptostorm. That is it, with these settings you should be able to get a working Cryptostorm enabled Tomato router. If I was you I would do something like the one bellow, this is actually ...

Since my beginning here in CS that android had that problem, I've solved it just by adding the IP and not the FQDN, I know that this isn't optimal, but it works

Re: Packetloss? Constant disconnections

The fact of the matter is eveen if its a split second disconnection from the vpn then it becomes an anonymity issue. That's why I'm running Zone Alarm Pro in all my windows boxes, and several clever IPtables rules in my linux boxes. I always recommend to my friends using a Router like this one: htt...
