Viking vpn and it's $15.00 monthly fee

I have been trying out viking vpn this month. Great speeds, but they cost 15.00$ a month and allow only one connection per exit node totalling 3 total connections. This price is almost triple of cryptostorm. He says he charges this because if his 2096 hmac firewalls and his expert load balancing. Is...

Re: cryptostorm: zero tolerance policy implemented

Only getting about 2 megabits on Montreal right now. Usually can get 4-4.5. No packet loss really. Weird. Support sees no issues. I'm going to try USA tomorrow.

Black VPN

So I have been trying out Black VPN, they do seem pretty decent. Good speeds. Open VPN based, no client of their own. They are based in hongkong. They give you an ip so they can forward you DMCA complaints though. Does anyone here have opinions on them and this type of practice. They dont actually l...

Re: performance-tuning high-capacity cryptostorm sessions

I dont know if my message was deleted because its not supposed to be here or it just didnt post right. I will try again. For the last week I have been using the Montreal server. I download quite a lot. I have a 50megbit connection. Using Cryptostorm I always lose 7 of those megabits. Using other VPN...

Is "secure" email real

With Tormail being pwned by the FBI, is their such thing as secure email? I know their is something called hushmail but dont know much about them. I currently use apple/gmail. Apple always puts your entire name with every email which I hate. Would love to have something a bit more anonymous.

Re: Opinions on Private Internet access

Thanks for the reply. I hate the fact that when you ask private internet access anything they really dont answer. I ask PJ a question and he answers back quickly all the time. Even going to level 2 support with PIA they just dont give a shit. Whether it be about how they dont log or anything else. I...

Data Center logging

I have seen this argued about on the private internet access forums. They really won't answer this question and still maintain , " we don't log". What about if their data enter does. Earth VPN claims that they never did log and if that is true, its only reasonable to believe that their dat...

Opinions on Private Internet access

Hi, I WAS a subscriber to private internet access for a while. They had great speeds and great support and allowed a lot of devices. this got me to thinking, how can they offer so many server for so cheap and when asked about if they log it was just a firm, no we dont log. They never say any more or...

I apologize for being dense but does mine qualify for a DNA leak and also is it ok to use open dns? Apple mail no longer lets me email you as it says you are illegal.

reported DNS leak: Windows widget 0.92 | win8.1

Hello, This is my first post and I am not sure if it is in the right area or not and I apologize if it isnt. I was talking to PJ last night about how my DNS is leaking and how using cryptostorm shows my real location because of a DNS leak. I am using 64bit windows 8. The method I used to fix this wa...
