Re: in-house resolvers

Thanks a lot for this reply, pj! doing things in-house just to be able to brag about doing it is bad security procedure: it increases attack surfaces , results in distracting gruntwork taking up staff focus, and requires us to stay abreast of the latest thinking, patches, and needs of this area of t...

DNS weirdness study guide & mega-thread aka Cthulu

{direct link: cthulu.cryptostorm.org } I wanted to bump this thread. I said I was gonna do so about a week or so ago, but I haven't gotten around to it. I'd be interested to see some more discussion on the topic and hope to see guys from the dev team getting involved in this thread. I had a very br...

Here's some info for anyone who wants to be a beta tester: There's an instance now on bruno that's using 174.142.78.195 along with new certs. The client will have to use the new client certs I put up @ https://cryptostorm.org/newclientcerts.zip (the files there are named ca2.crt, clientgeneric2.crt...

Re: cryptostorm on iOS NOW! - OpenVPN Connect 1.0.2 release

Ah, you might be right! I am also still confused with the authentication though. If someone else could try your edited config to see if they can authenticate, then we can maybe get a better understanding. I do have to say though: with the very recent revelations at 30c3 and Jake Applebaum's talk the...

I was just about to post this. I originally opened them up with Notepad (on windows). I went back and opened the files with Sublime Text 3 and Notepad++ and they're all formatted correctly. Weird.

Re: cryptostorm: config & parameter settings (client & serve

The formatting on those 4 configs files is messed up. At least it looks that way to me. There are no breaks/new lines, just one long line. I'm currently going through one config (dynamic) and breaking up the lines.

I figured that it was just a "rename" -- showing that 0.84w is a good starting point for the beta and officially closing the alpha.

Thanks for the clarification.

that said, if members need device concurrency & don't want to run router-based #cryptostorm sessions, we provide at no cost.

Is this the same as the previous version (cryptostorm_widget_0-84w)? The archive and folder both say 0-90w, but the .exe is 0-84w.
