Re: widget version 2.22 ('sexy narwhal') released in the wild | 4.2.2015

I'm on win10 and having continual issues with this widget. I absolutely love the CS service, and want to use it every day!! However, the widget seems to be completely broken on my laptop now. The other day I tried to connect to a slow public network and it got stuck trying to connect and then stoppe...

Re: HOWTO: 4 easy steps to connect your Android with OpenVPN

Recently I upgraded to a 4.4.4 ROM and am currently using the standard configs posted in the op. Things at first work great then I start getting the attached error messages over and over again. I'm using a token I purchased in April for one year so I know its not that, and it connects fine to begin ...

Re: HOWTO: 4 easy steps to connect your Android with OpenVPN

Sounds good on the routes, I gotcha, I thought it wasn't an error so that's good to hear an explanation. And yeah, I'd guess internet dropped out a couple times overnight where the connection is spotty in the bedroom, so then the VPN couldn't reconnect. I'll keep my eye on this, but I don't think I ...

Re: HOWTO: Leak Protection for Android

I disabled firewall, rebooted (just in case you never know), reconnected to vpn, and enabled firewall, so everything should be set and cleanly connected. Tried opening Dolphin (still disallowed in afwall+ settings) and going to those two sites. It did not work, which is awesome. However, google.com ...

Re: HOWTO: Leak Protection for Android

Thanks to everyone here for this thread, this is super useful stuff in combination with the openvpn cryptostorm connection! Now I can finally block off those damn games from trying to connect to google+ for saving cloud shit, or whatever they're doing. This is awesome. I have a question though, I've...

Re: HOWTO: Ubuntu Network Manager plug-in

That did it!!! Such a weird ass solution, haha. Successfully running the iceland node right now! I think it would definitely help for other debian folks to post a specific thread for debian. There's some weirdness about updating the repos, openvpn version, then using this network manager, etc... tha...

Re: HOWTO: 4 easy steps to connect your Android with OpenVPN

Sure thing, glad I could help. And Tealc, wohoo!! it works!! Running on the Montreal node right now, and when I connect it gives me the message about the protected socket, and then a warning about saving passwords (lol since the pw doesn't even do anything anyway) and then that's it! So it appears w...

Re: HOWTO: Ubuntu Network Manager plug-in

Here's a screenshot that includes the error notification in the top right of the screen. Not sure why the notification goes off the side of the monitor, I can't seem to move it, but anyway, you can see it lists the error about vpn secrets.

Thanks for taking a look at this for me.

Re: HOWTO: Ubuntu Network Manager plug-in

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me out here. I'm on Debian wheezy, and in the past with .9 confs I was able to connect, now I'm trying to use the 1.3 confs, and I'm getting the old error I used to get once again, argh. I've done the exact steps listed to connect, hashed my token, etc... and whe...

Re: HOWTO: 4 easy steps to connect your Android with OpenVPN

SWEET! So happy to have this! I'm going to go buy an additional token for my phone... RIGHT NOW. Can't even wait for the reduced pricing anymore, I want this on my phone and laptop simultaneously right now! I used afwall+ in the past, but it did not work at all for mobile data. It worked fine for bl...

Re: HOWTO: openvpn for android cryptostorm

Re: HOWTO: Ubuntu Network Manager plug-in

Hi, I'm having some troubles with my Debian install. I wanted to do the gui way instead of the terminal cli way, so I gave this a try, and I'm getting the error "invalid vpn secrets" after completing all the above steps. I know I have the right open vpn network manager package installed, a...
